Reviews: Hand Painted Watercolor from Photos

Purchased a watercolor painting for my parents who are in the process of selling their lifelong family home as a remembrance. The painting is very well done and my parents really loved the gift.

We’re very pleased with the results. Excellent chance will use the services again

My ex-wife moved into a ca1930 lakeside cottage this past summer and I was looking for a unique gift. I happened upon mydavinci, sent them a photo, and they nailed it. Beautifully painted original water color at a great price. Needless to say, she loved it. I really liked the way they allowed me to make minor changes before the final design. These guys are great. If you are hesitant to buy, don’t be. I highly recommend mydavinci.

I wanted to find a meaningful housewarming gift for my daughter for her first house, and am so glad I chose a MyDaVinci watercolor. Most importantly, my daughter and her partner absolutely love it. It captured the light streaming through the trees behind the house beautifully. I was very please with the process to preview the painting virtually first before proceeding to frame and ship.

Happy with the painting but I’d mostly like to thank the team for helping when shipping ran late. The team was on it, communicated well, and helped ensure we were happy with everything. Lots of good products, buts it’s wonderful- and rare nowadays- to find exceptional customer service.

For my four daughters and sons-in-law, I ordered each couple a watercolor painting of their home. I am very pleased with the artwork and the ability I was given to rework some of the details if desired. Although I was concerned that the paintings wouldn't make it to us in time for Christmas, every one of them was received by Christmas Eve at the latest. My only criticism is the poor quality of the frames and the use of plastic instead of glass over the pictures. The frames themselves looked fine when they arrived, but one of them was chipped and damaged in shipping and was obviously made of pressed (not solid) wood. When I contacted the company with photos and a description of the damage, they offered me the option of a new frame or a reimbursement for the damaged frame. So I am quite satisfied with DaVinci's customer service, even though it took a while for the back and forth communications to play out during what must be such a busy time of the year for them. They proved to be quite trustworthy and concerned with customer satisfaction.

My wife was thrilled with this watercolor! She was so happy that she cried when she saw it. The house is her pride and joy having had it built over 25 years ago. The process of getting the painting completed was quick and easy and the end product is of high quality. I couldn’t be happier with myDaVinci for creating this.

completely speechless. totally perfect. watercolor. it’s a gem. will now find other pieces to have done as well. AND IT ARRIVED DEC 24! just in time to put under the tree and surprise my husband. easy and quite simple to get it all done. if i could do it- anyone can. family photos next!

Gave this to my daughter and son-in-law for Christmas. They are usually hard to buy for, but they absolutely love it. It is already hanging in their foyer. Also, I found the customer service at myDaVinci to be outstanding. They are very responsive (email responses within 24 hours) and patiently answered all my questions. I would not hesitate to order from them again.

I had my mother in laws childhood home painted for her for Christmas. The artist captured the beauty and personality of the home perfectly.

I purchased this piece for my mother for Christmas. She and my Dad treasure the house they built together, and this was the perfect way to honor it. The ordering process was easy, and I was allowed to provide ample feedback and edits at 2 stages of the process to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. My mother appreciated the little details - from the flag, to the garden bench. Would completely order again.

I ordered this watercolor of my parents’ beloved home for them after they down sized. They built this home from scratch and I thought they’d like a reminder of the legacy they’ve left. I was right. They were delighted with the Christmas gift. The details the artist included were perfect and I’m so grateful. Production and shipping were timely.

My daughter recently purchased her first home. The house is absolutely adorable and she and my granddaughter are extremely happy with it. While thinking of something special to get her for Christmas I came across the myDaVinci site through the New York Times gift recommendations. It looked appealing so I decided to send in a picture of my daughter's home and the result was fantastic. The artist did a wonderful job capturing the essence of the home and followed my instructions to leave off certain non-essential parts of the picture that I sent it. I highly recommend this photo to art site, especially if you are looking for a unique gift for someone special.

My wife absolutely loved the painting! The myDaVinci team was incredibly professional, they sent the preview very quickly and the item arrived in time for Christmas! We couldn't be more pleased.

You did a fabulous job of creating a beautiful painting my son’s house. I gave it to him for Christmas. He was over the moon thrilled ,surprised and totally happy to receive the watercolor of his house.

A perfect rendering of our little 1830’s cottage. The perfect gift for my wife.

We couldn't have hoped for a better outcome on the watercolor of our home and landscaping. Everything was executed perfectly, from the timely messages from customer service, to the tweak in color I requested, to the outstanding finished piece. We are beyond pleased!

The watercolor painting of my child home came out better than I could have imagined. It brought a huge smile to my mom’s face!

This was a Christmas present for my new daughter-in-law, and it was an acknowledgement that she and my son would eventually leave this house. It was a 'future memento' for her to remember where she raised her two daughters and before her life changed forever when she married my son. The first thing she mentioned was the artistry--how well done it was and how well-rendered it was. She was touched but also impressed with the artist's skill. The piece arrived in two weeks, which was really fast given the Christmas rush. Beautiful job!

I was extremely happy with my house print that I ordered for my son’s home in California. Davinic provided proofs every step of the way and made several revisions until I was satisfied. Their customer service is wonderful. I would highly recommend them for any project you may have.
