This was a gift for my fiance on his birthday. He had just lost his father a year ago and had very few pictures of him that were worth framing. So finding this photo and having it reproduced in a larger format as a penciled sketched not only made it unique but it memoralized his father in a very personal way. He was awe struck to say the least. The quality of workmanship is amazing. The customer service is friendly and professional. This is the 2nd time I've used MyDavinci and I will continue to use them again! Thank you!

I had this pencil sketch done for my wife, a first-time mother. I was very pleased with the likeness of the sketch and the careful attention to detail. I gave it to my wife as a gift for her fist Mother's Day. She was ecstatic with it, to say the least. So much so, that I would not be surprised if she got me a similar sketch for Father's Day!

The artwork recently completed for my wife's birthday was beautiful! After reviewing the website's time guidelines carefully, I worked back from my wife's birthday, added an extra week or two, and ordered my sketch. I did request at least two modifications which the artist did quickly. The sketch isn't a perfect replica of the photo, and I expected some differences going in, so I wasn't surprised. I chose a black frame and there was a piece of plexiglas included over the artwork, nice touch! If you're patient, expect that a sketch will be a sketch, and plan ahead, this makes a very nice gift. I would use their service again and have already recommended them to others.

This sketch was for our 28th wedding anniversary. My wife loves it. There is something about my face that is amiss but I can't put my finger on it. I had a flag pin on my lapel that is not shown in the sketch. All in all though we are very happy with it. It takes quite a talent to do something like this. Would consider having other sketches done.

As I chose a silver frame, the color around the picture you chose was white and then the black and white sketch - just didn't make the picture "pop". Perhaps I missed where you could chose a color - or not. Other than that, I think it made a wonderful gift. I would definitely entertain doing the same for another special occasion.
