This is the second time I've used mydavinci. The first time I got a pencil sketch and absolutely loved it. This time I was not as impressed.

Everything looked good in the rendering. However, the actual picture wasn't as good. The colors were muted - not very bright, the paper looked bubbly, the background color was much darker than the rendering and the frame itself looked beat up. I'm taking the picture out of the frame and reframing.

This is not to say I would not use my davinci again - I would still for pencil sketches but I don't think I would try the water color and probably wouldn't have it framed.

I had a photo drawn for a good friend of mine and during the review process thought it look terrific but when I presented the art to her and her family the 1st thing they noticed were her eyes. She has green eyes and the drawing has brown. She thanked me for the effort but declined the drawing due to her eyes being the wrong color. Oh well.....win some, loose some.

The back ground color and or technic was done poorly. The color did not match the picture. Something could have been done to draw out the two people. Not happy.

The drawing was not a true replica of the picture I sent in. It was a gift and I was extremely disappointed to give it to the recipient. It was a picture of my son and his fiance and my son said the drawing made him look like he had Down Syndrome. Megan is a beautiful girl and this picture made her look comical!

Christmas came and went. Each time a proof was emailed, I promptly replied explaining in detail what was wrong or incorrect with the drawing. Changes were made but they were not corrections. When I finally asked to speak with someone, I was treated with respect and assigned to a more experienced artist. Unfortunatly when the final drawing was sent to my brother for his very late Christmas gift, he called to thank me and tell me that the house number on the drawing was 312, not his actual address which is 314- the very address the drawing was mailed to... I loved the advertised drawings they were the reason I chose to have a drawing done of my brother's first home... the end result was just average in quality, not what I was expecting... I won't use this service again even though I like the concept.

price was right, frame and matting were good...artwork had to be redone. sketch was rippled...looked like it was not dry when matted.
second artwork arrived...color was not good. Grass color/bushes all blended together...still artwork was rippled/wavy. Customer service was helpful

The clothing, body, and hair are well done. The faces do not look like the people in my photo(wife and child). They are well drawn faces but of people I do not know.
