There are three ways to send your photo to us. You can mail, email, or upload your photo directly to us on our website.
1) If you choose to mail your photo, please include your order number along with your photo. Please mail it to:

2)When emailing your photo to orders@myDaVinci.com, please include your order number in the email. We
also recommend sending it in .jpg
format as an attachment.
3)To upload your photo, please click on “ Upload Photos ” at the bottom of any page on our website. This option will allow you to browse your computer, select your photo file, and upload it directly to us.

If you would like to scan your physical photo to be uploaded or emailed, please scan it in at 300 dpi (dots per inch) resolution or higher. This is so the fine details can be seen when the photo is enlarged to create the artwork. If the photo was taken with a digital camera, please make sure you submit the original size file of the photo. If there are any problems with your photos, we will contact you right away.

Yes, we can. You can submit your photos along with your instructions for the placement of each subject. After your photos are received, we will digitally combine your photos, and email you a combined photo layout. Modifications can be made to the layout if needed. Once the layout is approved, one of our artists will start your artwork. Alternatively, you can have a person or subject removed from your photo, not to be included in the final artwork. Simply give us detailed instructions when placing your order.

We will return your original photo to you with the delivery of your artwork. If you have ordered your artwork as a gift and have chosen for us to ship it directly to that gift recipient the photo will be returned to your billing address separately.

A subject is a human figure, pet, or a complex background object that you would like to include in the artwork. For example, a girl holding a dog in a photo counts for two subjects. If you then would like our artist to include the background it would count as an additional subject making it a total of three. Please include all of these details in your special instructions.

One of our talented artists will begin creation of your artwork! We have a network of over one hundred professional artists who specialize in different subjects and styles. Once the artwork is created, a preview is emailed to you for review. Please note, for our Modern Artworks, the preview email option must be selected at the time of the initial order.

If you have a special request in regards to an order you have already placed please put all of your special instructions in the last step of the ordering process entitled "special instructions to artist". This section is sent directly the artist that is working on your artwork and can help them in the creation process understand the details you are trying to capture.

A contemporary trend is hanging a canvas artwork without a frame, by having the printed canvas image stretched around wooden stretcher bars. Gallery wrap means to allow for one inch color bleeds on all sides of the artwork. Since the sides of the artwork will have a finished edge, it allows the artwork to be displayed without a frame. In addition, the artwork can be framed later if desired. For more information.

Our premium luster paper is a high quality, semi-gloss paper with a 10 mil. thickness for a durable photographic feel and vivid color reproduction. Our printable canvas is a textured, stretchable semi-gloss canvas, which gives the look and feel of a traditional painted masterpiece. Either print will come rolled in a tube upon delivery, if framing or stretching is not purchased through us.

For our Traditional Artworks, a preview of the artwork is emailed to you for review and your approval. Modifications can be requested if needed.

For our Modern Artworks, the option for the preview email should be selected at the time of your initial order. If the preview email option is selected, it will be emailed to you once the artwork is created, and modifications can be requested if needed. If the preview email is not selected, your artwork will be created and shipped within 3-4 business days from the time we receive your order and photo.

After reviewing the preview, you may request modifications if there is any reason you are not satisfied with your artwork. If modifications are requested, we modify your artwork according to your suggestions. Once our artists complete the modifications, another preview is emailed to you for review. We will modify the artwork until you are completely satisfied, at no additional charge. If you still are not completely satisfied with your artwork, you may cancel your order for an in-store credit of the purchasing price. Traditional Artworks (excluding oil paintings) have a creation time of 3-5 business days.A traditional oil painting has a creation time of 3-4 weeks. For all our traditional artworks, a preview email will be sent to you once the artwork is created. Modification requests can be made at this time if needed, at no additional charge. If any modifications are requested, it may delay the process 3-4 business days. Upon receipt of your approval, all traditional artwork will be processed and shipped from our shipping facility within 3-5 business days. Depending on the shipping option you choose, delivery times may vary.

For our Modern Artworks, the standard creation time is 3-4 business days. The Rush Design option can be selected, for a $10.00 additional fee, and your artwork, would be created within 2 business days. A preview email is optional for our Modern Artworks for a one time processing fee of $4.95. If selected at the time of the initial order, a preview email will be sent to you once the artwork is created. Modifications if needed can be made once you receive your preview, at no additional charge. If any modifications are requested, it may delaythe process 2-3 business days. Upon receipt of your approval, your artwork is printed and shipped within 2 business days. If the preview email is not selected, once your artwork is created it is printed and shipped within 2 business days. Depending on the shipping option you choose, delivery times may vary.

You sure can! When placing your order, you are asked if your billing and shipping addresses are the same. If you would like it shipped somewhere other than your billing address, simply provide the correct shipping address at that time.

Depending on the art style you order, processing times may vary.
For our Traditional Artworks, (excluding oil paintings) you may want to select our textured fine art print option. A textured fine art print is an exact replica of your original artwork. It has the same look and feel of the original, but a textured fine art print is shipped the following business day after we receive your approval. Please note, original artworks are shipped from our artist facility to our shipping facility. This process takes about 3-5 business days upon receipt of your approval. Expedited or Rush shipping are also available for faster delivery times once the artwork arrives at our shipping facility. If you would like to select any of these options please mention this in your special instructions or contact us at orders@mydavinci.com.

We do offer framing on a majority of our artworks. When placing your order for a traditional artwork please choose the size you are interested in and a number of frame options will appear in the following step during the ordering process. If you would like a frame please choose the frame you would like and then continue the ordering process. If you do not want a frame with your artwork please choose the "no frame" option and your artwork will be shipped loosely rolled in a tube. If you do choose one of our frames for purchase our shipping and framing department will frame your artwork and it will be shipped in a box and arrive to you ready to hang.

If you are choose a modern artwork please be sure to choose the size and the paper option (Premium Luster or Canvas) and choose your framing option accordingly. If you have chosen canvas you also have the option of having the canvas stretched rather than having your artwork framed in a more traditional style. Our stretching option is only for our artworks that can be printed on canvas. If you choose the stretched canvas option your printed canvas artwork would be stretched around wooden stretcher bars and include a one inch color bleeds on all sides of the artwork. Since the sides of the artwork will have a finished edge, it allows the artwork to be displayed without a frame.

A Giclee (zhee-clay), is an individually produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity, high tech way of printing. Digital painting is a revolutionary technique where a graphic artist uses digital paint brushes to simulate the traditional bristle paintbrush of an authentic oil painting. The end result is a Giclee! The Giclee process provides excellent results rather than other means of reproduction.

We accept most major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept online checks and mailed checks. Money orders, payments via a verified Paypal account, and Western Union payments are also accepted. Your artwork will ship via FedEx, UPS or USPS. We offer standard ground shipping ($8.95) which is 5-7 business days for delivery, Expedited shipping ($19.95) which has a 2-4 day delivery time, and Rush shipping ($39.95) for a 1-2 day delivery. Delivery times may vary if you choose to purchase a frame through us as well as shipping times can increase due to the size and weight of a package. If you need your artwork by a certain date please be sure to include that in the special instructions when placing your order. You may also contact one of our customer service representatives to go over dates and additional shipping if needed. All artworks are carefully packed to avoid damage during transit. Once we receive your usable, clear photo we then assign an artist to create your artwork. We process your payment information once the creation process is started for your order. Since all of our artworks are hand done by either traditional or graphic artists, we have to charge for the service we provide. We would recommend the following suggestions to prolong the life of your artwork.
1. Avoid touching the canvas or paper surface.
2. The artwork should always be displayed away from direct sunlight.
3. The artwork should not be displayed in a hot/humid area (e.g. above an active fireplace or in the bathroom).
4. Feather dusting should be the only way of cleaning the artworks surface. Avoid using water or cleaning agents.

Our one-of-a kind gift certificates are perfect for last minute gift shopping. With our electronic gift certificate option, once you place your order the gift certificate is emailed directly to you. All you have to do is print it or email it to the gift recipient.

For our Traditional artworks, excluding oil paintings, we offer textured fine art prints of your original artwork. Prices vary depending on the size of print you order.

We accept and ship orders for our services outside the USA. Please note, we do not ship framed artwork outside the continental US, only unframed artwork. The standard shipping is USPS Global Priority mail, or airmail, and Rush shipping is FedEx or UPS. All international orders over $99.00 are not eligible for our free standard shipping options that take place when shipping within the continental United States.

Currently, we accept credit card payments from non-North American countries. For security purposes, we need a faxed copy of the front and back of your card. Our fax number is (847) 483-1450. Instead of a print, a digital image download would be emailed to you. This digital image download, or high resolution image, can then be saved to your computer. You would be able to resize the image for a variety of uses, such as an invitation, for a website, on a business card, or whatever your imagination can think of.

For personalized artworks, when choosing a digital image download instead of a print, after receiving your approval of the artwork, a high resolution image (150 dpi at 8”x10”) will be provided to you. If you need a larger resolution or size of the artwork, please contact us at orders@myDaVinci.com. Additional fees may be applied if larger image is requested.

For Instant Art posters, when choosing a digital image download instead of a print, after completing the order process, a high resolution image (150 dpi at 8”x10”) will be automatically emailed to you.
